| Greens Aerification
Fall Greens aerification will be done this month as will most area courses. The aerification of our greens are important for their health through-out the year. Our Greens Superintendents Dale Bowers at Legion Memorial and Dennis Parsons at Walter Hall will do there best to ensure quick recovery and minimal disruption to play. The scheduled dates are:
Walter Hall Golf Course – September 14th
Legion Memorial Golf Course – September 21st
Thank you for your understanding as we do our best to ensure we provide the best playing conditions we can for your enjoyment into the fall and winter. |
Fairway Aerification
The Fairways will also be aerified during the month of September. This is necessary for the health of our fairways and must be done before the rainy season gets here. Fairway aerification is done one hole at a time and results in almost no disruption of play or play conditions. The plugs are picked up immediately and the fairway is then sanded. When the hole is freshly sanded or if your ball ends up in one of the holes where an aerification core was pulled out you may take relief for no penalty within one club length, no closer to the hole.

| Not going to need all your tee times…Please call and cancel?
Please help us to make the golf course available to as many of our golfing community as possible.
If you are not going to use your tee time or not all the players you have reserved times for are going to play, please call us and cancel those times as soon as you are aware that they are not needed. Many times during the course of the week we are turning away groups because our tee sheet is full, then we have groups no show without canceling or have a group signed up as a foursome show up as only a twosome. Those spots then go unused when others would have loved to have had those times. This is not fair to other golfers that are unable to find an open time to play.
Please cancel any unneeded tee times and give others the chance to use those times!

Tee Time Phone Numbers and Website Tee Times
It is easy to make tee times at Legion Memorial and Walter Hall Golf Courses. Tee times can be made for up to one week in advance over the phone at 425-259-GOLF for Legion Memorial and at 425-353-GOLF for Walter Hall. You may also make advance tee times from one to fourteen days in advance day or night on the web at Everettgolf.com. If you have not used the website to make or change tee times, give it a try. It’s quick, easy and you can do it whenever you want!
Note: With the longer days in the summer, please be careful to double check if you have chosen an AM or PM tee time when making your tee time online. Example, if you are making a 6:00 tee time, make sure you don’t accidentally select a 6:00 PM time when you wanted a 6:00 AM time! |
